bride and groom first dance under twinkle lights at Ships of the Sea in Savannah

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum Wedding | Allyson + Jason

Anytime I see an inquiry come through for a wedding at Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum in Savannah, Georgia, I immediately get excited. In my opinion, it is one of the best wedding venues in Savannah to photograph a wedding. The private outdoor gardens just minutes away from the city center of Savannah, makes it such an incredible destination for guest and loved ones.  I had the pleasure of working with the incredibly talented Luke Wilson Events and his team to see this elegant, Southern Wedding come to life.

Early on after connecting with Allyson and Jason about their day I knew it would be special. Their sweet disposition and just general way about each other made their love captivating to document.  I was enthralled by their focus for others on their wedding day. I remember the dance floor was really shaking with the tunes from the  brass band and open air breeze of the venue.  I expected to see them rush the dance floor at any moment, but instead I found them in heartfelt conversation spending international time with guest. The heart of a couple is always its most attractive part, and these two are truly gorgeous inside and out.
