Sometimes I swear the stars and the universe align and everything just seems to line up perfectly. This was one of the cases. I’m not sure how, but our supposedly frosty December session was nearly 50 degrees and sunny. Not to mention Junius managed to get there on time after pulling an all nighter driving 8 hours + from Washington DC just to be there. The light was literally..PERFECT that day…hair and make up were flawless..styling on point..location, fit like a glove. When I first met with Sheena she was an instant friend and its hard to not think she is great. We were both so excited at the meeting, dreaming of engagement session ideas, we could have talked for hours! We wanted to create something more editorial, artistic, not the average pics… she was inspired by a Vouge shoot at a train station, so that is where we started…and well I think we far exceeded both our expectations. I knew they would be awesome, but I had no idea they would be phenomenal. There was even a moment at the railway museum, right before the sun went down…where the light was hitting this silver train and reflecting onto Sheena’s gold sequin dress..and she was lit just perfectly… with this golden halo glow….it was breathtaking and I couldn’t stop clicking. If you haven’t gathered how excited I am about this shoot yet, then you must see for yourself.
