It was a day of epic proportion! The weather had been all over the place that morning, but the rain clouds parted (thankfully!) just in time for pictures, making for some gorgeous puffy white clouds. Gotta love when that happens:) Anna + Chris shared a special ‘first look’ before the ceremony, and then we went around with the rest of the bridal on the grounds of Bent Tree Community.  So many great spots for pictures, I love how they turned out! This crew was awesome to work with, I would really do it all over again! Be sure to check out some great dance moves and even an appearance by the village people below!

I must say, when I got the call from Terrin and David for an e-session at the Georgia Aquarium, I was PUMPED! I had been hoping for someone to ask me to shoot there, so I think we were all pretty excited when the session t time rolled around. We were some of the first people  in line, and were lucky enough to get a few stunning shots in front of the ‘big tank’ with no people around (which is a little unheard of!).  I think the theme of the day was lots of fish and fun! It goes perfectly for their upcoming beach wedding in October! Best of luck you two:)

So I think the saying is ‘seven years good luck’ if it rains on your wedding day…right??  Well then considering the torrential down pour for 24 hours straight, I think Kelley and Clint get to tack on a few extra years for good measure!  Luckily, they are two down to earth people, who just wanted to be married to each other,  so not even the rain could dampen their spirits on that day. Julia and Luke are the best! We had so much fun on their engagement shoot! They came ready with a bag of props no less, which always makes for a good beginning. Their pup they got together even joined in for a quick family portrait.  If I can say so myself , this shoot was awesome! Complete with juggling, hand picked wild flowers, epic sun flares, hidden bridges, and impromptu speeding trains along the hooche….and of course not to forget,  two adorable people in love! Sigh…let’s do it all over again!

Can you have too much goodness in one session?? It’s hard to say! But seriously this was up there with perfection!  Kelley & Clint picked Serenbe Farms in Palmetto, GA for our e-session together.  They loved that southern charm, and this place really fits the bill.  It seemed things just kept getting better and better as the time went by.  From horses and rustic barns, to beautiful flower patches which seemed to line our every footstep, and  of course not to forget the perfect evening light and two incredible people … I have to say it was an epic day! So glad it worked out for them to make the trip to come meet me, it was so worth it!

For Yvonne and Charlie’s e-session we went to some of their favorite places around Atlanta.  Little Five Points was buzzing with lots of people out and about enjoying the gorgeous weather. We made time to stop off at The Porter Beer Bar, where they shared their first date. We finished the session at Piedmont park, with a beautiful sunset to end the day.   You can tell from the photos, these two are a ton of fun, and I am looking forward their upcoming wedding day!

Well it was a year in the making for our session, after we battled the weather on three rescheduled shoots in 2012! Finally we decided to wait till next spring to do the shoot.  Guess the saying is true, because our patience paid off, and we seriously had a perfect weather day! Already married, Cassia and Chris just wanted to celebrate their love, and what a better way then with some stunning pictures!

After Caroline and John’s first meeting through friends, they knew it was something special and the rest was history! They chose a quaint southern styled  Inn in the hills of the Blue Ridge mountains to host their intimate affair.  The whole vibe was very cozy and loving and you could really see the happiness of two families joining their lives together.  With one of the best bouquet tosses ( aka battles!)  I’ve seen in a while, it was truly a pleasure to be a part of their day!

Right from the start Kara and Mike were great! Check out the greatest new kids clothing line ever! My long time friend Jennifer Schlosser has been brewing up a creative storm designing her new line, MINI SCALLOP.  This was the first shoot for the new line, so we really wanted to show some of the great hand painted details and stitching.   With a fresh new take on the sear sucker style, it is sure to be a hit!
